Egypt’s Suez Canal Authority (SCA) announced the initial operation hours for the newly-inaugurated Martyr Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel II in South Sinai for the crossing of different vehicles.
The 4,250-kilometer Tunnel II was built by a consortium between Concorde and Petrojet companies, under the supervision of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces. The tunnel consists of two lanes with 3.6 meters in width and 5.5 meters in height each.
